Michelin-starred chef Roger Jones is visiting The Vineyard Hotel once again to host two more exciting and engaging wine-paired dinners – on 10 and 13 January 2017.
Chef Roger – who kick-started his career as the Queen’s youngest head chef to run the Buckingham Palace’s State banquets (aged 21) – has been sharing his passion and food knowledge with The Vineyard Hotel’s guests through several excellent wine-paired dinners, over the past few years since his initial collaboration with executive chef Carl van Rooyen.
Who doesn’t love bubbles?
The first dinner is the MCC-paired dinner on 10 January. Chef Roger will prepare a delicious five-course menu, which he will pair with the choicest MCCs from South Africa, England and Wales.
As this dinner is held at the hotel’s new Upper Deck venue, it is limited to a maximum of 30 diners.
The Tri-Nations of Wine
The dinner on 13 January is – unfortunately – already sold out. Eighty lucky guests will be given the chance to judge the Cape Town leg of the 2017 Tri-Nations of Wine. Chef Roger will prepare six courses, pairing them with top, unidentified wines from South Africa and Australia.
So, if you’re keen to experience chef Roger’s wizardry, book for the MCC-paired five-course dinner on 10 January and enjoy the beauty of the historic Vineyard Hotel.
