With the sun out and summer in full swing, there are few better ways to spend a Sunday evening than under a tree listening to good live music. So, we were thrilled to hear that the annual summer concerts are back at these two popular Cape Town venues. So, pack a hamper, with a couple of bottles of vino, round up the famiglia, and head on down to one of these two much loved parks.
About De Waal Park: During the year, The City Council Parks Department in conjunction with Concerts In the Park (and to some extent the Friends of De Waal Park) work hard to keep the park looking its best year-round, so that when summer starts it is in spiffy condition for Capetonians from all over to enjoy these wonderful free musical get-togethers. Everyone is welcome – and your pets.”
