The small of town Montagu is going to be rocked to the core when Paradise Springs kicks off on Friday, 24 March, and runs until Sunday, 26 March 2017. With eight swimming pools, four dance floors, five bars, food trucks, loads of jacuzzis and a 24-hour restaurant, this three-day extravaganza is bound to be off the charts! One mega resort party complex has been created by combining four venues: Avalon Springs, Montagu Springs, Little Sanctuary and Paradise Mountain.
Paradise with all the perks
Brought to you by Strange Loving, producers of house music and events, the three-day pool party and music festival (for over 21s only) will be spread across four dance areas: Avalon Pool (Deep House), Montagu Pool (Tech House), Golden Terrace Pool (Disco and Classic Hip-Hop) and The Night Forest (Techno). In addition to some of the hottest DJs around, guests can expect hot-water spring pools, 30 outdoor jacuzzis, cool swimming pools, four dance areas, restaurant, communal braai, massage and spa areas, as well as two tennis courts and miniature golf, too!
DJ Kolombo in the house
Oh, and did we mention the too-hot-to-handle line-up? Headline artists include foreign imports Kolombo (Belgium) and Sandeman (UK), with locals Kyle Watson, Ryan Murgatroyd, Strange Loving, as well as Abby Nurock (vinyl-only set), audiojerk, Funky GI Ivan (among others) to keep you dancing long after the sun has kissed the horizon, and the stars have filled the night.
And to keep your hunger pangs at bay, and your thirst suitably quenched, there are five rocking bars, a 24-hour restaurant, and gourmet food trucks to ensure the drinks flow and the food is perfectly on point.
Festival fun for the whole weekend
Tickets range between R400 and R700, and are valid full weekend passes, but do not include accommodation (and vice versa).
If you feel like splashing out, there’s loads of luxury accommodation to be had – in the form of hotel rooms, chalets and mountain cabins too, with amenities such as hot showers, air con, TVs and more to keep you comfy in between all the partying. Sadly, all the on-site accommodation is sold out, so we recommend one of the nearby guest houses, farm cottages or lodges (check the full list on Paradise Springs Facebook page).
Or, do it in a tent!
Bring your own tent, and pitch it at one of the recommended spots, including the Montagu Caravan Park and Cottages, or Doringlaagte Camping and Chalets. But, please note: this is not a camping festival, so don’t rock up and expect to pitch your tent at the party!
Wake up cuz!
Tickets are selling out fast, so be sure to nab yours quick, and be part of this three-day party extravaganza.
