With the popular annual Riebeek Valley Olive Festival – now in its 17th year – come barrelfuls of olives, wine, craft beer and delicious food… But what’s good food and wine, without good music, right? Thankfully, Riebeek Cellars is providing an array of toe-tapping tunes to get you into the swing of things!
The Riebeek Cellars Wild Olive Acoustic Stage, taking place on 6 – 7 May, features a bumper line-up of musos, gourmet food trucks and some of the tastiest olive-related products around.
Trucks, tunes, and taking it easy
With the likes of Francois van Coke and Valiant Swart headlining the Wild Olive Acoustic Stage, revellers are in for a full Saturday of awesome acoustics. Stretch out on the grass, with a glass of Riebeek’s latest vintage(s), and let Francois van Coke, Soetmelk, Marcia Moon and Mono.Pony, among others,keep you entertained with some laidback acoustic performances.
In addition to excellent music, you’ll be able to enjoy food from gourmet food trucks, olive-orientated stalls, and a family-friendly vibe, perfect for the whole family.

Even though the last performance is at 3:30pm, there will still be other local entertainment until 10pm. Space is limited for the Saturday event, so it’s best to arrive early. Gates open at 9.30am (with the first act appearing onstage at 11.15am) , and if you want to park and ride, there is a shuttle service running from the town square.
Easy on Sunday…
The vibe on Sunday is decidedly chilled, with Francois Haasbroek performing while guests enjoy a legendary Riebeek Family Steak Braai. For more information, and to prebook your spot, please email email@example.com.
