Dinner-Theatre Evenings at The Vineyard Hotel

Dinner-Theatre Evenings at The Vineyard Hotel

Fans of Tennessee Williams will relish these belly-warming food-and-wine theatre evenings.

Known for its warm hospitality, excellent service, and one of the dreamiest garden settings in Cape Town, The Vineyard Hotel is once again inviting theatre fans (with a penchant for excellent food and wine) to experience these unique dinner-theatre evenings.

Two by Tenn

After a highly successful run at The Vineyard  in 2016, the Two by Tenn Hotel Play Series is back once again, offering fans of acclaimed American playwright Tennessee Williams the chance to enjoy a wonderful night out.

Featuring two hilarious and outrageous one-act plays by Williams, as well a three-course wine-paired dinner, these evenings take place in two separate suites of the hotel’s historic wing throughout July and August 2017.

This year’s Two by Tenn lineup features A Perfect Analysis Given by a Parrot and The Remarkable Rooming-House of Mme LeMonde (a more bizarre play). And, due to the intimate nature of these performances, seating is limited, so booking is essential. Tickets cost R650 per person and include a three-course, wine-paired dinner and two plays.

Due to the risqué content of the plays, please be advised that no under 18s are allowed to attend, so leave the kids at home…

Stay overnight

What’s more, until mid-August, The Vineyard Hotel is once again offering a special Hotel Plays accommodation deal, which includes tickets to the show (wine-paired, three-course dinner included) as well as two accommodation options to choose from.

Both include coffee, bed and breakfast, and cost R2 150 (single room) or R3 000 (double room) per night. These offers are only available on the nights of the shows, so bookmark the dates.
