If you’d like to see the whole process and do a tasting afterwards, CBC is open everyday from 10am until 5pm. Guided tours are not available, but visitors are invited to roam around the facilities and ask a CBC employee a question or two while exploring. After your walk, quench your thirst on some finely crafted beers at the on-tap tasting stations.
Once you’re done tasting, you might want to go for a bite at one of the restaurants (and maybe even order a crate or two to take home).

About the Provider
Beer drinking in SA is not what it used to be. In the past four years, over 40 microbreweries have opened in this country. (A microbrewery is an independently owned brewery that is much smaller than the corporate large-scale ones.) One such place is The Cape Brewing Company (CBC) in Paarl, which opened its doors in December 2012, and now produces over 10 of its own brews.
The beer-making team at CBC is unequivocal when it comes to the process. Under the masterful eye of brewmaster, Wolfgang Koedel, their beers are made from the only the finest ingredients, mineral water from their own spring and state-of-the-art facilities.
