How do you know if someone’s eaten at the Chefs Warehouse & Canteen? Quite simple: they’ll tell you! Yep, this feted Bree Street Restaurant is one of those places you’ll want to brag about long after you’ve eaten there. The food is mouth-poppingly delicious, it’s no wonder some of our country’s top chefs rate it as the best restaurant in the Mother City: Michelin-starred Jan Hendrik van der Westhuizen, Luke Dale-Roberts, Eric Bulpitt, Brad Ball, Rudi Liebenberg, Franck Dangereux and Reuben Riffel, to name a few.
So, we could barely contain our excitement when we heard that owner-chef Liam Tomlin had opened another branch – in the ’burbs this time… at the picturesque Beau Constantia wine estate, no less. And to top it all off, Liam has nabbed Ivor Jones (former head chef at The Test Kitchen, pictured above) to run the kitchen!
