Imibala Restaurant and Deli

Imibala Restaurant and Deli

Talented chef Nicole Drupper cooks up some farm-fresh country fare.

Sophisticated country cuisine in bright and breezy surroundings, with dishes lovingly prepared by well-known local chef, Nicole Dupper, who created culinary magic at Bushmans Kloof and Bartholomeusklip before joining Imibala.

We recommend The chilli salted squid with a chili sauce and roasted baby vegetables is delicious. If you’re after something more substantial, try the lamb korma with basmati rice, crispy naan toasts and sambals or the duck-and-cherry pie with roasted baby vegetables. Finish off with the naartjie crêpes with salted caramel sauce. On sunny days, sit outdoors on white wicker chairs or enjoy the cosy fireplace indoors on chillier days. The well-stocked deli offers a host of ready-made meals by Terra Madre, unusual fruit and vegetables from the nearby Rupert farms, take-home meals made in the restaurant and a large range of pickles and preserves.
