This artisanal bakery on Long Street makes all its breads on site using stone-ground floor, proved to develop flavour and baked directly on the stone. Also made on site are cured meats and preservatives made from local and ethically sourced ingredients. The menu ranges from baked goods, such as the signature 100% rye bread with pear, macadamia nuts and honey, to rich satisfying meals such as the risotto with sundried tomato and basil served with smoked and braised beef brisket.

Filled with the addictive aroma of baking bread, it is a heartwarming and comfortable space. And, of course, you can nab some freshly made baked goodies to take home with you. If you have a sweet tooth, order a cup of thick dark hot chocolate.
