Dating back to 1694, Anthonij Rupert Wyne Estate is one of the most spectacular wineries in the Franschhoek Valley, offering an array of pleasurable pursuits that appeal to gourmands and motor enthusiasts alike.
There’s so much to do, in fact, that should you want to partake in all that’s on offer, there’s an estate package that includes wine-tasting in the Terra del Capo tasting room; an antipasti lunch under the oaks; a visit to the Franschhoek Motor Museum, and a scenic ride on the estate’s tram that boasts spectacular views of the Franschhoek Valley.
The antipasti lunch is the ultimate alfresco dining experience – perfect for a celebration with friends while you soak up the stunning views. A true farm-to-fork experience, the extra-virgin olive oil, honey, fresh herbs, cured marinated olives, artisanal breads and Verjuice featured on the lunch platter are all produced in-house (and available for sale from the Tasting Room’s farm shop).
