Tucked in the rolling hills of the Montagu valley, this private nature reserve is the perfect escape for those who prize relaxation and seclusion. Home to just one luxury tent in the folds of the mountain, Grysbokkloof is an off-the-grid getaway, making its allure all the more authentic.
Wake to nothing but the sound of chirping birds, before soaking up the views of the watering hole from your private hot tub or hammock, which offer 180-degree vistas of the enveloping mountains.
Inside, a king-size bed, with an en-suite bathroom (and a hot-water shower) ensure that glampers are utterly comfortable. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and dining table, and an indoor fireplace for chilly evenings.
Outside, a view-drenched deck with an outdoor braai, hammock, boma and potjie pot, pizza “oven” and a heavenly wood-fired hot tub set the scene for an immersive experience in nature.
