Situated on a 376-hectare reserve, Mosaic Lagoon Lodge is where city-weary travellers go for a secluded, restorative stay in nature.
Ancient milkwood trees, a dreamy lagoon, abundant birdlife, a fynbos reserve and a towering mountain provide the backdrop for the five-star lodge where warm, personalised service will make you never want to leave.
In addition to the lodge, there’s a spa, a beautiful, lagoon-facing dining room and lounge, and a boutique filled with a curated selection of locally made clothing and accessories – not to mention the string of exhilarating outdoor activities that’ll keep you busy from dawn till dusk.
An intimate number of just five African-safari-style bungalow suites open onto the lagoon and mountains beyond. With all the requisite creature comforts (fireplace, electric blankets, a decanter of port, and a turn-down with home-made date balls and a hand-written note on the pillow), you will feel cosseted and cared-for in your own private paradise.
Breakfast and dinner are served daily in the view-drenched dining area, where two couches beside the fireplace beckon for post-prandial sessions. Chef Adrian Boshoff’s food is generous, delicious and made with passion.
What’s more, you’re also invited to enjoy any of the exciting activities – quad-biking, beach excursions, nature walks and mountain-biking – all of which are included in your stay.
