Built in the 19th century, the carefully renovated Cape Dutch property has all the character of a historic home – classic furniture, high wood-beamed ceilings, a large country kitchen and cosy lounge (complete with a warming fireplace) – all the while providing guests with the feeling of being somewhere special.

Cape town has the most breathtaking get aways. Besides Stellenbosch, Hermanus, sights around the cape route gardens, Frascnhhoek is also one of the top spots for an getaway. I have done some winentasting at rickety bridge manor house and was an tasteful memorable event lol… I would however like to experience just a stay over as sometimes the drive back is tiering, but never the less Rickety bridge manor is on my bucket list.
