Situated on the famed Victoria Road strip, The 41 burst onto the Camps Bay scene in 2016, and has been a buzzing attraction ever since.
Formerly Tuscany Beach restaurant, French owner Gilles Blanc and his partner Nicholas Da Costa have given the space a complete architectural overhaul, where sliding glass doors and tiered dining levels showcase 180° views of the ocean.
The laidback interiors lure beachgoers to pop in for breakfast, lunch or dinner. And come sundown, the sea-facing terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine, or one of the restaurant’s creative cocktails, followed by a tasty Mediterranean-inspired meal.
And now, you and your lucky plus one stand the chance of experiencing the eatery in all its glory, with a Chef’s Table dinner comprising four custom-made courses, lovingly curated by the restaurant’s team of chefs.
Your meal will be created on the night, adding an exciting surprise factor. So although we can’t tell you what you’ll be having, you can expect an array of delectable dishes featuring meat and fish made with Meditteranean flair.
Previous featured dishes include grilled ostrich steak (with chakalaka salsa, phutu maize pap and achaar yoghurt); peri-peri prawns (grilled prawns and line fish in tomato bisque sauce); and kingklip (with grilled prawns, jasmine rice and wok-fried vegetables).
Simply delicious.
