Located at the foot of Devil’s Peak, the Taproom’s amazing mountain views will elevate an already delicious craft beer and meal to new heights. The Devil’s Peak Brewing Company restaurant is a contemporary setting where you can enjoy a leisurely meal and a brewski. Wooden stools, benches and counters create a cool and inviting atmosphere.
The Taproom’s pub grub menu is varied enough to satisfy most appetites and tastes. The red quinoa and chicken salad will appeal to the healthy set, while fish and chips is sure to hit the spot for those seeking comfort food. The cheese burger (with a beef patty and Emmental cheese) and the pulled pork sandwich (slow-cooked in Amber Ale, served with pickled red onion, coriander cream and onion rings) are the Insider’s favourites.

Devil’s Peak beers are obviously well represented. The Founders series (King’s Blockhouse IPA, First Light, Woodhead Amber Ale, Silvertree Saison) is available on tap. And there are another four rotating taps with some “experimental” brews and beers from the Explorer Series (English Ale, American Pale Ale, Black IPA, Imperial IPA).
For non-beer drinkers, an extensive wine list features a selection of Western Cape wines as well as hand-crafted liquors such as Jorgensen’s vodka and Inverroche gin.
