The picturesque urban park that is Battery Park at the V&A Waterfront has been drawing crowds since its opening in November 2018, with a host of attractions that appeal to children and adults alike. And now, there are even more reasons to visit, as the park hosts the final two concerts of the sunset series – where a crop of talented local musicians perform against the backdrop of picturesque canals.
Battery Park Sunset Series
The concerts take place every second Friday, with popular actor and musician Mzukisi Ntantiso (aka Def Eff) acting as the MC. Each event kicks off with a guest DJ, who will get the crowd in the mood with a two-hour session of lively tunes. Then it’s time for the main event, as the featured performer takes the stage for a two-hour sunset serenade.
Refreshments and snacks are available at the Balmoral Supermarket, Shift Espresso Bar and Trail and Tar. And there are lots of spot prizes to be won.
