Spa treatments, meditation, nature excursions, and more await…
There’s no denying that 2020 took its toll, be it financially, mentally, emotionally, health-wise or all of the above. Now more than ever, taking care of mind and body is paramount, as we prepare for the year ahead.
Stanford Valley Guest Farm in the Klein River Valley is hosting a wonderfully restorative retreat, designed by well-being experts to allow you to reboot your metabolism and regain balance.
Conveniently located just an hour and a half from Cape Town, the farm spans 480 hectares, offering the sort of expansiveness required for a blissful and uninterrupted stay in nature.
Eat, sleep, relax, repeat
Surrounded by hills and lush meadows where horses graze and springbokkies roam, the farm is home to 15 charming white-washed farm cottages – your home for the duration of your stay.
The retreat accommodates a maximum of 12 guests. All food has been carefully designed by a nutritional expert and includes a controlled meal plan of soups and salads, fresh fruit, herbal teas and straight-from-the-spring water (available to you throughout the day).
Also included in the package are two one-hour massage treatments, guided meditation and self-care rituals as well as unlimited access to the new steam room and wood-fired sauna, and optional outdoor sunrise and sunset dance sessions.
Lovers of nature will be in their element swimming in the spring-fed dam, hiking around the farm, or mountain-biking around the custom-built trails.
The self-sustaining benefits really start when you return home, feeling physically and psychologically lighter. As such, each guest will receive a Dead Sea Body Butter to remind you to continue the self-care rituals at home.
There’s no better time to kick-start a new, healthier lifestyle!
