Street Food Festival 2017

Street Food Festival 2017

Take your pick from the food trucks and gourmet pop-up stalls at this tasty annual event.

The Cape Town Street Food Festival is back, with Side Street Studios once again playing host to this ever-popular market. The entrance fee (R50 on Saturday; R100 on Sunday) gives you access to some utterly delicious, proudly South African street fare, such as vinegary fish and slap tjips, gatsbys stuffed to capacity, and some of the best – straight off the fire – braaied goods, prepared by some of South Africa’s best street-food vendors.

    Good Day

Is there any events coming up in 2017 and if so how do we apply.

Why does it cost R50 to simply enter the market? Does one get free food or drinks then? Otherwise it simply makes it ridiculously elitist and inaccessible for most people who live in that area.
