Cellars Hohenort Fathers Day Souffle

A hearty Sunday roast is the focus of the special Father’s Day lunch. Group Executive Chef Tronette Dippenaar and her team have created a three-course menu of good, honest flavours designed for winter-warming pleasure.

There’s a choice for starters: a fresh garden pea and parmesan velouté; or the restaurant’s legendary double-baked cheese soufflé with aged Boland cheese, parmesan and a gin cheese sauce. For mains, succulent roast beef is accompanied by crispy roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, garden vegetables and a rich jus gravy. Finish off with an unapologetically decadent malva pudding served with crème anglaise and vanilla-bean ice cream.

Get the family together and raise a glass to Dad in this peaceful, historic setting.
