Once again, the marquee on the lawns at the Huguenot Monument will be a hive of activity at “The Magic of Bubbles” Cap Classique & Champagne Festival. One of the most anticipated highlights on the Cape’s social calendar, this annual event in the heart of Franschhoek attracts bubbly aficionados from far and wide to sip and savour top-notch MCCs and the finest French champagne.

POP-UP LUNCHES

Brands such as Anthonij Rupert Wyne, Black Elephant Vintners, Boschendal Wines and Steenberg Vineyards will be on hand, showcasing their premium MCCs. Look forward to an exciting new concept at this year’s festival in the form of delicious pop-up lunches, hosted by acclaimed chefs Darren Badenhorst (Le Coin), Chris Erasmus (Foliage) and Pierre Hendriks (Le Bon Vivant). The cost for these lunches is R660 per person, and booking is essential as only 60 seats per session will be available.

This year’s theme is Black and White; and don’t forget to wear a hat – not only will it up your glam quotient, it’ll protect you from the midday rays.
Your R395 ticket includes access to the festival, which is open on both days from 12pm to 5pm, a complimentary tasting glass and tasting coupons. Additional vouchers can be purchased on the day. Children under 18 years are allowed free entry.
