The Goatshed food and wine evenings 2016
A four-course menu and a selection of good wine beckons…

The relaxed, Mediterranean-style ambience at The Goatshed Restaurant at Fairview wine and cheese farm is a wonderful setting for these winter food and wine evenings, taking place on selected Friday evenings from June to September.
The evenings each have a culinary theme: 12 August is Viva Italia and, in true Italian style, the food will be presented on a long table groaning with oversized platters of antipasti, pasta dishes and more. Shank and Shiraz is the theme for 26 August, and the main course will comprise a springbok or lamb shank braised with shiraz. The R325 cost includes a four-course meal, accompanied by the estate’s wine, as well as tea or coffee.
