The V&A Waterfront’s Good Night Fridays concert series is back, going digital with some of the countries’ coolest entertainers this Friday evening.

The high-energy hub of the harbourside at night is what Cape Town’s premier attraction, the V&A Waterfront, is so famous for; and it’s what Good Night Fridays are all about! And although current lockdown restrictions have put a pin in live concerts for the time being, it hasn’t stopped the V&A Waterfront from putting on a show, and bringing Good Night Fridays to you.

This Friday, 28 August 2020, the V&A is inviting art and music lovers across the world to tune into its Collaboration Edition online concert, live streaming from 7pm. Grab a beverage of your choice, settle in on your couch, and jam along as some of SA’s coolest beatsmiths bring the tunes directly to your living room.

The lineup

This time around you’ll have a front-row seat to internationally acclaimed songstress and multi-award winning artist, Judith Sephuma, who will leave you in awe with her soft and sultry voice.

Joining her on the digital stage is multi-platinum selling and award-winning Lady Zamar, whom you probably recognise from her dominance on local radio! Her debut solo album King Zamar has been dubbed one of the best dance albums ever, so you know you’re in for a good time.

What’s more, you’ll have Loyiso Madinga (the South Africa Correspondent for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and certified international comic) keeping you entertained along the way in his role as MC for the night.
