SA music’s big names, delicious food and drinks at the Cape’s only forest amphitheatre.
A “golden circle” of eucalyptus trees sets the scene for the Hope Music Festival Summer Concert Series 2017/18 – now in it’s fifth season. The magic happens in the Cape’s only forest amphitheatre, situated on the Paul Cluver Estate in Elgin, a mere 45-minute drive from Cape Town’s city centre.
Pack a picnic, or buy something to eat at the venue from the selection of gourmet food vendors. Paul Cluver Wines and Cluver Jack cider will be on sale, as well as soft drinks, of course – BYOB is not permitted.
Bring the little members of the family along, too – there’ll be lots of activities for them to do. The proceeds from each concert season go to the NGO Thembalitsha, which assists the disadvantaged in the Grabouw area.
