Music concerts at Paul Cluver Estate

SA music’s big names, delicious food and drinks at the Cape’s only forest amphitheatre.

A “golden circle” of eucalyptus trees sets the scene for the Hope Music Festival Summer Concert Series, which takes place in the Cape’s only forest amphitheatre, situated on the Paul Cluver Estate in Elgin, a mere 45-minute drive from the city centre.

Season 4 kicks off with a bumper evening of prizes and activities for the whole family. We’re particularly looking forward to the concert on 17 December, which sees the ever-popular singer (and The Voice judge) entertaining the 600-strong crowd for the evening.

Pack a picnic or buy something to eat at the venue from the selection of gourmet food vendors. Triggerfish craft beer, Paul Cluver Wines and Cluver Jack cider will be on sale, as well as soft drinks, of course – BYOB is not permitted.

Bring the little members of the family along, too – there’ll be lots of activities for them to do. The proceeds from each concert season go to the NGO Thembalitsha, which assists the disadvantaged in the Grabouw area.
