Venture into the heart of the Winelands for this wonderful shopping experience.

If, like us, you enjoy shopping for one-of-a-kind, thoughtfully crafted items, you’ll be familiar with Kamers/Makers – the large-scale pop-up markets where you can shop for a dazzling array of fashion, decor, art, jewellery and design by some of SA’s established and up-and-coming talent.

The platform not only offers our young designers a platform to gain recognition and sell their wares, it also allows members of the public the chance to purchase (and take home) some unique products and designs.

After successful pop-up markets in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Bloemfontein earlier in 2018, the event returns to its market roots in Stellenbosch, this time at a fabulous new venue, Blaauwklippen Vineyards.

Where it’s at

Prepare yourself for six fun-filled days of browsing and shopping for beautiful and unique pieces for your home and wardrobe from the 160 stalls, which include Meso, Rush Activewear, The Pink Geranium Nursery, Bungalow Living, The Farmer’s Daughter, Sexy Socks, Tuist Craft Ice Cream, and many more.

Get it all

When you purchase a ticket (R60 online; R90 at the door), you’ll receive a shopper bag, brand-new magazine and a Consol glass water bottle to refill at Bluewater’s filtered water stands
Students and pensioners can enjoy a discount at the door, and entry is free for under 18s (but this excludes the shopper bag). Please note: for safety and convenience, all Kamers/Makers events are cash-free environments. This means, you can use your own debit or credit cards, or load money onto a Kamers card, if you’d prefer.

So, if you’re in the mood to eat, drink, browse and be festive, head to Blaauwklippen for this exciting shopping event.

Enjoyed our visit. Lots of interesting local popup shops to support. My only criticism was the lack of food available at the venue. Thousands of visitors and only a few places to buy small treats and bites to eat. Expected A LOT more from this event! I’d advise to NOT come hungry or pack yourself a nice basket to avoid disappointment.
