Things are shifting gears for this year’s MCQP bash, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The annual MCQP shindig is one of the popular highlights on Cape Town’s party calendar, and this year is no different.

What’s the theme for MCQP 2018?

Drag Race is 2018’s theme, and revellers are invited to dance the night away at Cape Town Stadium. So, round up your crew, and step onto the track. From drag-racers Ricky Bobby (Will Ferrell) and Jean Girard (Sacha Baron Cohen) from Talladega Nights to drag queens such as RuPaul and Dame Edna, there’s no shortage of drag heroes that you and your team can take inspiration from.

The Cape Town Stadium will no doubt be transformed into a massive dance party, complete with multiple dancefloors and chill areas. Over 45 DJs and artists will be performing, as well as dancers and other entertainers. Along with the general access tickets (R370), there’ll be VIP tickets (R1 500), Team Packages (R250 – R370 per person), as well as several Limited Private Pitstop Trailers that can be rented for R30 000 a pop!

If you opt for a general-admission ticket, you’ll have access to the amazing dancefloors, stages and entertainment. The VIP tickets kick it up a notch, with priority seating, fast-tracked entrance, and unlimited free drinks all night long. Then there are the private suites that can accommodate up to 20 people, each decorated with lush furnishings, kitted out with drinks and snacks throughout the night, a VIP bathroom, bar staff on tap, and more.

So, whichever route you decide to take, you’re guaranteed to have the mother of all parties!
