Interior designer Sandalene Dale-Roberts has opened a pop-up decor shop where husband Luke’s experimental kitchen used to be.

Though Luke Dale Roberts’ pop-up eatery at the Old Biscuit Mill has gone, there’s a new pop-up shop in its place, and it also goes by the name Naturalis.

Take home The Test Kitchen

Opened by Sandalene Dale-Roberts (Luke’s wife), Naturalis pop-up shop offers a selection of interesting, highly sought-after items and enviable furniture pieces, which are, in some instances, essentially replicas of those found at The Test Kitchen, The Shortmarket Club and The Pot Luck Club, the couple’s ultra-famous restaurants.

Naturalis has popped up just in time for you to tick some gorgeous gifts off your Christmas shopping list and/or revamp your home.

Bespoke creations

Sandalene started her foray into interior design after husband Luke told her he was opening a new restaurant, The Pot Luck Club, in 2013.

More recently, Sandalene has had a hand in the decor at the sophisticated, New York-esque Shortmarket Club, as well as The Test Kitchen, which is fresh from a stunning revamp. Sandalene designed and created the furniture for the contrasting Dark and Light Rooms (within The Test Kitchen), and also curated their soft furnishings, tableware, linen and carpets.

Keep a sharp eye out for her wonderful, bespoke bucket chairs and striking sun loungers.

Show-stopping shopping

On the shelves, you’ll also find a selection of artisanal Japanese homeware by Setamono and local ceramics by John Bauer. And, on the walls, artwork by Shaune Rogatschnig is available for purchase. If you’re out to turn your kitchen into a classy cooking kingdom, then KitchenAid’s bespoke appliances – including a world-famous artisan mixer range – are rather tempting.

Naturalis pop-up shop is open until end-December 2016, so pop on by before it’s gone…
