Nederburg Piekniek en Musiek Summer Festival: January 2023

The beautiful lawns and ancient oaks at Nederburg Wine Estate take on the Cape’s popular open-air Afrikaans music festival, Piekniek en Musiek, once again on 29 January 2023. As the name implies, it’s all about coming early and soaking up the scenery with a picnic to make the most of a fantastic Sunday in the Winelands.

A star-studded afternoon lineup

Much-loved Afrikaans stars Spoegwolf, Jo Black and Karlien Van Jaarsveld carry you through an afternoon of rousing and lyrical music, the whole event hosted by media personality Elana Afrika-Bredenkamp.

• Spoegwolf One of the best-loved stars of the Afrikaans music industry, with multiple number 1 albums and top-selling tours
• Jo Black Hits include “Bring Die Hoop Weer Terug” and “Voel Jy Die Genade”
• Karlien Van Jaarsveld The famous voice of “Geskeurde Jeans” and “Sing Vir Liefde” and co-presenter of “In Jou Skoene” with her brother, Bobby van Jaarsveld.
