The OuiBar & Ktchn at Radisson Red is ditching the turkey this festive season and throwing a 100% vegan Christmas lunch feast. The cool and trendy spot in the V&A’s Silo District will be channeling the festive spirit with live music, Santa hats, crackers, tinsel treats and a whole lot of sparkle. And there’s even a rooftop after party, if you want to carry on celebrating until the sun sets and the stars come out to play.
Vegan Christmas lunch
This festive feast throws out the conventions and pulls in all the plant-based spoils in five courses of summery, seasonal fabulousness. This is what’s on the menu:
Tinsel treats curry vetkoek, black pepper and fennel rolls, seed loaf;
vegan cream cheese and tamatie smoor, nori and garlic butter, pickled red onions
Jingle Bells summer pea soup, wild mushrooms, spring onions, mint oil
Fa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-fel beetroot falafel, herbed quinoa, dukkah yoghurt, paaper crisps, cucumber salsa, lemon syrup
The Nut Cracker smoked sausage, roast butternut, walnut and nut crumble, miso caramel, fried sage, oat milk tofu
Frosty the Snowman carrot cake, frosting, carrot purée, lime sorbet

Rooftop after party
Chill out after lunch on the Radisson Red Rooftop lounge deck overlooking the Waterfront and Table Mountain, where the festive vibe continues into the evening. There’s no set menu here, just drinks and snacks to order whenever you feel peckish (there are both vegan and meat options on the rooftop sharing plate menu).
