After successful tours in Durban and Johannesburg earlier this year, Cape Town now also gets to join in the merry fare that is the South African Bierfest. Hosted at SABMiller’s Newlands Brewery, this event is packed with fun German-themed activities.
Come hungry, as hearty German grub will be on sale. Expect to find freshly baked giant salted pretzels, kartoffel (chips), crisp roast pork knuckle, windbeutel (profiteroles), and more. Or if you prefer, you can pre-order a platter of German goodies (ranging in price from R275 to R475).
