Can You Feel It? SpiritFest 2017

Can You Feel It? SpiritFest 2017

A four-day festival of yoga, swimming, dancing, live music and wholesome food.

There’s something about bubbling brooks and unobstructed views of fynbos and citrus trees…  It sets the scene for uninhibited exploration and utter relaxation. If that sounds like your cup of chai, you might want to sign up for SpiritFest 2017, which takes place in Citrusdal country, right next to the Olifants River. With plenty of space to unwind and chill, festival goers will feel inspired to take part in any of the many activities.

Something for everyone

In addition to various yoga and dance sessions, visitors can partake in early morning sadhana (the repeated practice of observation and reflection), swimming, river-rafting and chanting. The younger members of the family will love the various kiddies’ classes and workshops.

And, come sundown, revellers can get their jive on to the beat of The Bhaktas, Eppelsauce, DJ Craig, and more.

Unplug and chow down

Leave the tech at home and get into the magic of the moment, camping out (or glamping it up) among friends, family and other teetotallers (yep, this is an alcohol-free festival). On the food front, there’s a green menu full of nutritious and delicious options, including organic, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and raw meals. Caffeine fiends can get their fix of organic coffee… And if you prefer to sip on a quiet cup of tea, there’ll be an assortment available.
