Kick off with a choice of two starters: mango atchar & prawn salad with mixed grains; or smoked springbok carpaccio with mushroom purée, capers and root vegetable crisps. These are just to work up your appetite for The Marine’s famous Sunday roast. This time it’s centred around roast beef and confit free-range chicken, accompanied by the whole works: Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, veg and roasting gravy. Finish off with a mosbolletjie custard pudding with stewed apricots and ice cream; or traditional malva pudding with crème anglaise.
