This Valentine’s Day, The Bay Hotel has pulled out all the stops to ensure that all the romantic boxes have been ticked.

On arrival, guests are invited to enjoy a poolside glass of GH Mumm Champagne and an oyster bar at Sandy B Private Beach Club. Then, once your appetite has been sufficiently whet, head upstairs to Tides for a superb four-course meal, while enjoying panoramic views of the Camps Bay beachfront.  

Award-winning guest chef Luke Wonnacott (who has worked with some of the world’s top chefs, such as Gordon Ramsay, during his 14-year career) has prepared an exquisite feast, featuring Alaskan king crab, olive oil-poached salmon, and lamb navarin. A vegetarian option is also available, comprising cucumber and avocado gazpacho, salt-baked beetroot, and celery Parmesan gnocchi. A Valrhona chocolate tart (on both menus) ends the night on a perfectly sweet note.
