Veuve Clicquot Polo Brunches: Summer Sundays at Val de Vie

A fitting way to celebrate the season, Veuve Clicquot is hosting a series of Sunday brunches at Val de Vie Estate in Paarl, where gourmet brunch, fast-paced polo and upbeat tunes will be served with appropriately celebratory Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.

On select Sundays from January to April, style savants, sport enthusiasts and lovers of the good life are invited to don a retro polo outfit, and head to the Paarl Winelands to wine, dine and celebrate exceptional horsemanship at Val de Vie Estate.

Surrounded by three majestic mountain ranges, the verdant estate falls within the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley – an idyllic backdrop for one of the most spectacular polo venues in the world. And, given that Val de Vie is French for “valley of life”, it’s not surprising that the estate is the perfect destination to raise a glass to the good life!

The best of the brunch

Brunches take place on 30 January (sold out), 20 February, 6 March and 24 April 2022 – with two gourmet options to choose from – each of which will be served in an elegant socially-distanced setting.

So Clicquot! Terrace Brunch

With views of the polo field and the Paarl-Franschhoek mountains, this appetising offering includes a selection of starters and desserts from the brunch spread, as well as a choice of mains from the à la carte menu that includes a Croque Madame and Croissant Benedict. Naturally, it’s all accompanied by a chilled glass of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label.

So Clicquot! Free-Flowing Terrace Brunch

This brunch offering is the same as the Terrace Brunch above (a sharing platter and a dish from the à la carte menu), and also includes free-flowing Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label during brunch, served by the glass.
