Wine & malt whisky affair 2016

If you’d like to sample 20 of our country’s premier wines as well as 50 single-malt whiskies, make sure to book your ticket for the Wade Bales Wine & Malt Whisky Affair 2016. Mingle with winemakers and whisky connoisseurs, while tasting some of their creations.

Participating wineries include Paul Cluver, Ernie Els Wines, Vilafontè and Delaire-Graff Estate, while the single malts on show include Glenfiddich, Glenrothes, Laphroaig and Glen Grant.

Become an expert 

On the night, head over to one of the master classes and gain unique insight into the secrets of the grape and the grain. There is a nominal fee of R20 per person, per class.

An added treat 

Your ticket for the event entitles you to a tasting of Piper-Heidsieck’s Brut, one of the oldest French champagne houses in the world. To peruse the full range of PH champagne, head on over to the Murano Bar.

You’ll also be offered an assortment of cheeses, antipasti and artisanal breads throughout the evening to complement the wines and whiskies you taste.
