Tucked away on a side street in Cape Town’s vibrant Long Street district, Addis in Cape has been providing an authentic Ethiopian dining experience since 2007. Its culinary offerings, rich in flavours and enhanced by an array of colourful spices, have always been vegetarian-friendly, but now they’re going one step further, with the opening of a vegan-only restaurant in the same building.
So whether you’re in it for healthy, wholesome food or guilt-free splurging, read on!
What to expect at Vegan Addis
The restaurant, housed on the first floor of the same building as Addis in Cape, will offer diners a buffet-style menu that changes daily. We can’t let you know exactly what will be available yet, but if Addis in Cape is anything to go by, it’s sure to be a diverse array of flavourful foods that transport you to Ethiopia, where many trade routes intertwined. Except this time, it will be 100% free of animal products.
The new restaurant is opening on 26 April 2019. For more information, subscribe to our newsletter.
