About the restaurant Firefish (part of The Kove Collection’s string of popular eateries) specialises in charcoal cooking, courtesy of a state-of-the-art Josper Grill, whose ultra-high temperature allows meat and fish to be grilled and roasted without losing any of their natural flavours. As the name implies, the main event is charcoal-grilled fish, with an array of smack-of-the-sea cuts on display at The Ice Bar at the entrance. But there’s more than enough variety on the extensive menu for vegetarians, carnivores, sushi lovers, and even those with bite-sized appetites, who can order off the Asian-inspired Small Plates menu. The same can be said of its concise winter menu.
