About the restaurant Reached by a long winding road set against the eastern slope of Table Mountain, The Cellars-Hohenort hotel is home to one of Cape Town’s timeless gems. As its name implies, Greenhouse is enclosed in a glass box to maximise its magnificent garden setting, with glass panels overhead creating the illusion of being outside.
At the assured helm is head chef Farrel Hirsch, who took over the reins from Peter Tempelhoff in November 2018. Chef Farrel has already earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious American Express Platinum Fine Dining Restaurant Award.
