About the restaurant Thirty-year-old chef Matt Manning has certainly hit a culinary sweet spot with his first restaurant foray – filling a gap in the discerning-foodie market: beautifully prepared and executed dishes that taste heavenly. The characterful interiors – distressed concrete floors, avian prints, rattan chairs, atmospheric hanging lights and pot plants everywhere – create a warm atmosphere in the compact 40-seater, with an open-plan galley enhancing the buzz. So, we were thrilled to hear about G&V’s weekday lunch specials.
