Acrobranch Constantia: Zipline Above the Treetops at Constantia Nek

Acrobranch Constantia Cape Town

Swing among the treetops in the heart of the Constantia Valley.

Hidden deep within the Constantia Nek forest (okay, fine, not that deep), in the shadow of the misty mountains (okay, fine, they’re not that misty), lies a treetop playground. Acrobranch Constantia offers something truly unique and fun, not only for kids and teenagers, but for adults too.

Climbing gloves are compulsory for participants 7 years and older, and can be purchased on-site for R25 a pair.

Acrobranch for kids

Acrobranch Constantia: Best Things To Do with Kids

There are four obstacle courses in total – two of which are suitable for young children, namely Acro-Twigs and Monkey Moves. Both of these have all the ziplines, cargo nets and elevated platforms your budding Indiana Jones could want, and parents can rest assured that your little ones will be tucked into safety harnesses. Assistants are available in case any of the kids need a helping hand, and there’s a restaurant onsite where parents can relax.

In this age of screens and tablets, this outdoor adventure is a great way to get children (from the age of three and older) playing outside in nature. Plus, it improves coordination, flexibility and strength, and is definitely a confidence-builder!

The two other courses – Swinging Tarzan and High-Flying – are suitable for teenagers and adults. Acrobranch Stellenbosch has a Big Zip – 120 metres of uninterrupted excitement – flying – through the air!

Only a basic fitness level is required and, as the courses differ from park to park, age and height restrictions may vary. Acrobranch has three aerial parks in the Western Cape: Constantia, Stellenbosch and Garden Route.

Good to know Booking online is essential. Wear comfortable clothing and tie up your hair if it’s long.
