What’s On at The Alma Café?

What’s On at The Alma Café? The Alma Cafe, Emile van Dango

This homely suburban spot is just the thing for live-music lovers who appreciate tasty grub, too.

The quietly intimate Alma Café, housed in an old Rosebank home that is over a hundred years old, is as timeless as the hills. Here, café co-owner and musician, Richard Tait, has created a stage for musicians to perform purely for the love of music.

Operating according to a supper-theatre model, the compact yet well-geared venue is not your traditional café. On performance nights, guests can expect full, home-cooked meals as part of the package! There are no menus; owners Richard and Retha prepare one set meal per event… though they’re always happy to make special dietary provisions, if required.
