Delheim’s Jazz & Fondue Sundays 2018 are Dipalicious!
A feast of delectable dippers, Delheim wines, and jazzy beats.

The popular Jazz and Cheese Fondues at Delheim Estate are back. Thanks to a collaboration with the Cape Town Music Academy (CTMA) and Jazz in the Native Yards, every Sunday throughout the chilly months, Delheim’s tasting cellar plays host to an impressive lineup of local talent. And it’s upping the ante this year – by hosting three live jazz sessions per event.
Feel the fondue
The estate’s cosy cellar is the ideal place to warm up, with its low ceiling and rustic candlelit tables. The R450 price tag buys you a glass of Glühwein, a shared fondue pot (a belly-warming combination of Emmentaler, Gruyère and white wine) into which you can dip chunks of oven-fresh baguette and vegetable crudité while swaying to jazzy beats.
To add to the fun, a general knowledge quiz on various Delheim topics will keep competitive spirits alive, with great prizes up for grabs. Guests are also free to order starters off the Garden Restaurant’s à la carte menu (for an additional cost).
And, if you arrive early, do a wine-tasting, and select the perfect bottle to enjoy with your fondue (or take home with you). Booking is essential.
