Movie + Dinner Nights at Pepperclub Hotel’s Retro-Style Theatre

Date-night dinner, with a ’60s twist.

The five-star slice of luxury has again upped the ante when it comes to cool experiences in the Mother City – with its fun and fabulously retro-inspired dinner-and-movie nights that take place throughout winter on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Roll the credits

There are two movie screenings each night: at 6pm and 8.30pm. Dinner is served either after the 6pm screening, or at 7pm (in time for the 8.30pm screening) in the hotel’s Copa Restaurant, where you can choose one of three options: grilled beef sirloin; pan-fried line fish; or smoked tomato gnocchi. For an extra R80, you can enjoy a decadent Belgian chocolate torte served with caramel popcorn for two.

The plot thickens

Odeon Cinema
The cool Odeon Cinema – a 29-seater ’60s-style theatre that’s as rad as it is retro is conveniently located on the ground floor of the hotel. Here, movie-goers can settle into one of the cosy armchairs and tuck into buckets of popcorn while watching a classic or a popular new release (see schedule below).

Diarise these dates for upcoming Pepperclub Hotel Movie Nights:

Date Movie Showing
22 – 25 August Notting Hill Book Now
29 – 31 August Love, Actually Book Now

All this (and free parking) for just R225 (per person)? Seems like a fab deal to us.

Please note: The movie schedule is only available a month in advance.

Something for the little ones

Every Saturday and Sunday, Pepperclub Hotel hosts Kids’ Movie Mornings. Little ones are invited to enjoy a popular child-friendly movie at the Odeon Cinema. The movie starts at 12pm and kids receive popcorn, a cupcake, a choice of either Smarties or Astros, and a choice between a milkshake, hot chocolate, or fruit juice for R185. Email movies@pepperclub.co.za for the latest Kids’ Movie Mornings schedule.
