The tranquility of the ocean, and the spectacular views of the Cape coastline, provide the postcard-perfect backdrop for these gourmet cruises, during which passengers enjoy a meal prepared by professional chefs.
Whether you prefer a buffet-style feast or multi-course meal, you’ll enjoy it aboard a luxury catamaran as it glides across the ocean. The boat features a main dining area, a bar and a comfortable lounge, and is equipped with a 42-inch plasma screen, DStv, a PC connection for presentations.
The outside section has a covered back deck and a sun deck, where guests can soak in the sun or bask in the colours of the sunset with a cocktail or cold beer in hand.
The cruises depart daily from the V&A waterfront. As for the meal, you can book either a buffet-style menu (caters for up to 65 guests) or three- or four-course set meal (caters for up to 40 guests). There are a variety of menus on offer, including a braai menu, sushi platter or canapés.
Lunch cruise at leisure
The lunch cruise offers greater flexibility, as the meal can be served during the boat ride, or after dropping anchor at one of several locations: Clifton 4th Beach, Granger Bay or the V&A Marina. The location depends on the weather conditions and guest preference.
Or if you prefer to dine beneath the glory of a Cape sunset, try the dinner cruise.
