Hidden in the foothills of the Cederberg mountains, on the banks of the Olifants River, Wolfkop Camping Villages is one of the Cape’s well-known getaways, offering accommodation in camp villas alongside the river.
The lodgings

Each camp villa sleeps up to six people, and has access to the river below.
Villa features



- bell tent with king-size bed
- two dome tents, each with two single beds
- bedouin-style stretch tent for shade, wind and rain protection
- open-plan dining and living area with table, chairs, upcycled couches and bean bags
- villa deck with built-in braai facilities
- kitchenette with a fridge/freezer, two-plate stove, kettle and toaster
- electric lighting and a power point
- communal bathrooms with hot showers and flush toilets
- Kolkol wood-fired hot tub
- extra firewood and ice available to purchase on site (cash or Snapscan)

There is a plethora of scenic hiking, mountain-biking and horse-riding trails in the area – the perfect base for exploring the mountains and farmlands in the heart of the Cederberg. Feeling energetic? Hop in a kayak and meander down the river.
