Win an Overnight Stay + Dinner at Morea House Worth R25 000
Sink into Camps Bay beachfront luxury on a blissful escape for two.
By Inside Guide • 15 September 2026
For urban beach glamour, Camps Bay has it all. Swaying palm trees, white-sand beach, rocky coves, cinematic sunsets and a dramatic mountain backdrop. Right on the beachfront, Morea House ties into the sophisticated beach getaway vibes and brings another level of design-led chic to the coastal scene, whether you’re dining at Omri Restaurant and Bar, unwinding at the spa, or checking in for a luxurious beach break and soaking up the energy of the Atlantic Ocean and the views of the Twelve Apostles Mountains.

Individual design

Throughout the hotel, interior designer Tristan du Plessis creates a distinct sense of place. He uses the colours, textures and natural materials of the Cape with sculptural fluency, from the striking lobby to the sun-splashed lounge, and the wavy underwater aesthetic of the glamorous restaurant. Organic curves soften uncluttered rooms and suites, in mirrors and natural wood tables that echo the forms of rockpools, in softly textured wall art and abstract floor rugs. Morea House is part of the Autograph Collection (Marriott International’s distinctive premium collection of passionately independent hotels), and each room feels individual and tailored to the setting, with views over the ocean or out to mountain horizons.
Chic Lebanese dining

Hand-painted “wallpaper”, sculptural mirrors and undulating ceiling hangings conjure an intimate underwater ocean-forest feel at Omri, where curvy booth banquettes and polished marble tables are arranged for the best beach views (there isn’t a viewless table in the house). The sparklingly contemporary interior picks up on the rich tapestry of the Levantine-inspired à la carte menu, where Lebanese chef Joe Stello explores Cape ingredients in a delicious array of Eastern Mediterranean mezze and flatbreads made for sociable sharing. And flame-grilled dishes, seafood and skewers, all served with panache and expressive flavour.

A pool with a view
Sunset from the rooftop pool deck and bar is a daily ritual for resident guests. Perched above the Camps Bay buzz you enjoy uninterrupted views straight out to sea. It’s a place for quiet morning swims, languorous lunches poolside with light dishes from the bar menu and golden-hour cocktails.
