Even better when those gardens are the gloriously verdant and enchanting botanical wonderland and woodland that is The Cellars-Hohenort, set against a backdrop of the Constantia mountains. This year Tastes Of Our Valleys celebrates exceptional wines from the three regions represented by the Liz McGrath hotel collection: the historic Constantia Valley, the cool-climate Hemel-en-Aarde and the coastal terroir of Plettenberg Bay. It’s wine-tasting meets garden party, in one exclusive afternoon of sipping, brimming with elegance and charm.
Tastes Of Our Valleys
Stroll between a succession of tasting stations representing the best of each region. Expect a hand-picked selection of fine wines from each estate, chosen to complement seasonal bites from the new Cellars-Hohenort summer menu. As you wander, sip and chat to the winemakers, discover new favourite wines from the likes of Beau Constantia, Eagles Nest, Buitenverwachting, Groot Constantia, Steenberg and Constantia Glen, as well as Ataraxia and Creation from the Hemel-en-Aarde, and Newstead and Kay & Monty from Plettenberg Bay.

The talented team of chefs behind The Conservatory Restaurant will be rustling up delicious seasonal bites to accompany the wine tastings, bringing the fresh flavours of summer to the fore in an appetising taster of their new summer menu. Enjoy sensational pairings and a feast of palate-pleasing eats.
