Over 200 wines are ripe for the sipping.
The impossibly scenic grounds of Cape Point Vineyards is where you’ll find foodies and wine enthusiasts on Sunday, 5 March for the annual Constantia Fresh festival. Over 200 wines will be available for revellers to swirl, sip and savour (as well as spirits and craft beer) while you sample gourmet small plates against a backdrop of mesmerising ocean and vineyard views.
The small plates will be provided by chefs from some favourite local restaurants (Massimo’s, Botanicum Café & Grill, Furny’s Fine Wine and Taste Room in Noordhoek, The Kelp Shack and Cape Point Vineyards Restaurant), with Woolworths putting on a harvest table, laden with a selection of cheese, fruits, dips, crackers, and more.

In addition to scrumptious snacks, festival-goers will be treated to wines from a clutch of local estates, such as Klein Constantia, Groot Constantia, Buitenverwachting, Steenberg, Eagle’s Nest, Beau Constantia and Constantia Glen, and also from further afield such as Kleine Zalze and Jordan Wines (Stellenbosch), Paul Cluver (Elgin), Creation Wines (Hemel-en-Aarde), Fryer’s Cove, (West Coast) and The Drift (Napier).
