DJ Black Coffee Rocks Shimmy with the Hottest Beats this Summer

The Ibiza luminary is about to fire things up at this beachside hangout in Cape Town.

December is once again Black Coffee month at Shimmy Beach Club! Known for producing the coolest beats on the continent, the award-winning DJ is guaranteed to sizzle up the scene at this waterside spot this season.

So, who exactly is Black Coffee?

Born Nkosinathi Maphumulo in Durban in 1976, the Joburg-based beatsmith is one of the most prominent house-music producers in Africa. With five albums under his belt, as well as numerous accolades (including Breakthrough DJ Of The Year in Ibiza in 2015), he is the go-to guy when it comes to getting the party started. Which is why, Capetonians are beyond excited about this rad residency!

What else is on the cards?

In addition to glittering beats from this musical maestro, there’ll be tasty cocktails and snacky nibbles – from burgers and pizzas to wraps and sushi, there’s sure to be something to tickle your fancy.

So, get your party boots on, and join Black Coffee as he sets Shimmy alight this December, supported by a string of other popular local DJs, including Da Capo and Enoo Napo, to name a few. Hello summer!
