Black Coffee On The Decks at Shimmy Beach Club This Summer

After rubbing shoulders – quite literally – with the likes of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Diddy, Drake,Trevor Noah and Usher (to name a few), Black Coffee returns to the decks at Shimmy Beach Club in Cape Town for a sizzling summer series.

Born Nkosinathi Maphumulo in Durban in 1976, the multi-award-winning beatsmith is one of the most prominent house-music producers in the world, having released five smash albums and collaborated with the likes of Usher, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys and Drake, among others. With three DJ of the Year awards from Ibiza under his belt, he is – without question – the go-to guy when it comes to getting the party started. Which is why, we are beyond excited about this rad annual residency!

In addition to glittering beats from this musical maestro, there’ll be a fully stocked bar and festival-style food to enjoy – from burgers and pizzas to wraps and quesadillas – and Black Coffee’s set will be preceded by a string of popular local DJs, including Themba, Da Capo, Lemon and Herb, and Enoo Napa.

Good to know Parking is available at V&A Waterfront’s Clock Tower parking area. A free Shimmy shuttle service runs frequently between the parking and the venue.
