One&Only, one of Cape Town’s most distinguished hotels, is hosting another one of its popular Chef & The Vine evenings, this time showcasing wines from Hamilton Russell Vineyards and Southern Right wines, specialists in pinotage and sauvignon blanc.

Paired with a specially curated four-course dinner, the proprietors of both estates, Anthony and Olive Hamilton Russell, will present wines from their two farms.

Chef & The Vine Experience: OO Dining

The master behind the menu is chef Jacques Swart who will prepare two equally delicious meal options to ensure that vegetarians and meat-eaters are satisfied. With years of experience working in five-star hotels, chef Jacques loves to combine traditional cooking methods with contemporary techniques and focuses on creating simple yet flavourful dishes using local seasonal produce.

The three-course meal includes:
Arrival canapés with Southern Right sauvignon blanc
Starter East Coast sole and vannamei prawn mosaic paired with Hamilton Russell Vineyards chardonnay
Main Karoo ostrich fan fillet paired with Hamilton Russell Vineyards pinot noir and Southern Right pinotage
Dessert Dark-chocolate molten cake paired with a dessert wine
