Radisson Red Winter Playlist: Live Music at The Silo District

In the creative hub of the Silo District at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, the Radisson Red hotel channels a playful take on urban living. Its OUIBar + KTCHN spills out onto the plaza opposite the Zeitz MOCAA art gallery, with a street food offering at once colourful and laidback. Tall windows, exposed brick and industrial chic decor, red banquettes, acid yellow chairs, it’s a big lighthearted space that doubles as a dynamic gig venue when the Winter Playlist season hits.

Live music sessions

There are two unmissable dates on the 2025 Winter Playlist calendar: new young voice of South African folk and pop, Booshle G; and singer songwriter Craig Lucas, known for his distinctive alternative pop style. Both bring their signature energy and unforgettable vocals to the stage, alongside some of Cape Town’s favourite supporting acts, on evenings hosted by Chad Saaiman.

A fresh new season

The new Winter Playlist season is also a chance to celebrate a new era as the hotel emerges reimagined after a creative refurbishment. “Radisson Red has always been a place of connection, celebration and culture,” says Angus Spurr, general manager. “We’re thrilled to be bringing this signature series back in a bigger and more exciting way.”

As well as the music expect fresh cocktails, a streetwise menu of curated bites, and an electric atmosphere with a whole lot of dancing through the evening.
